Service

SpringStart is a service for registering and browsing software product ideas, plans, update histories, discussions, FAQs, inquiries, and related information.

Development support

Development support is a feature where supporters voluntarily pay support money to product developers. Development support has no target amount, rewards, obligation to deliver work, equity, loan, dividends, revenue share, or any other consideration.

Receipt of development support funds, payment processing, and payouts to developers are handled through Stripe and Stripe Connect. Stripe payment fees and our 5% service fee (tax included) are deducted from the support amount, and the remaining amount is paid to the developer through Stripe Connect.

To receive support funds, developers must register for Stripe Connect and complete identity verification, submit identity documents or other information required by Stripe, register a payout bank account, and complete any other procedures specified by Stripe. If these procedures are not completed, support funds may not be received or payouts may be delayed or suspended.

Because development support payments are processed on the developer's Stripe Connect account, Stripe may show the developer payment-related information such as the supporter's name, email address, billing information, payment method type, card brand, and last four digits.

Developers must use payment-related information shown on Stripe only as necessary to confirm development support, handle refunds, respond to fraudulent payments, or comply with laws or requests from Stripe and similar parties, and must not use it for other purposes, provide it to third parties, solicit supporters, harass anyone, or otherwise misuse it.

Supporters cannot request refunds for development support except for illegality, prohibited projects, fraud, Stripe or card network requests, or cases legally required.

Account management

Users must keep registration information accurate and manage login IDs, passwords, and external authentication information at their own responsibility. If unauthorized use is discovered, users must promptly contact us.

Prohibited acts

Users must not violate laws or public order, infringe third-party rights, post false information, access systems without authorization, place excessive load on the service, or interfere with service operation.

Posted content and rights

Rights to product information, comments, images, text, and other posted content remain with the user or the rightful owner. Users grant us permission to use posted content as necessary to provide, display, improve, and promote the service.

Restrictions

If a user violates these terms or we determine it necessary for service operation, we may hide or delete posts, restrict use, or suspend accounts.

Disclaimer

We do not guarantee the content, continuity, accuracy, or usefulness of the service. Except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages incurred by users.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes related to the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over our location as the court of first instance.
